Breeders who sell to pet stores don't care what happens to their 'stock'. The lives of the animals are measured in
financial terms only. They are exploited as commodities to be converted to capital. The entire trade is synonymous with misery, suffering, and death.

Comment: These two bunnies are the breeding pair for the store.  Who knows how long they’ve been stuck in their tiny cages, with no escape. Mom has baby bunnies, about 10 days old, that will be sold to just anyone.  The City of Vancouver and the BC SPCA have received numerous complaints about deplorable conditions, inadequate care, and sick animals. Today a protest was held. Carmina Gooch Oct.19/08 The male rabbit has been rescued. Unfortunately, this store is still in business in 2013. Some good news - early in 2014 it is out of business!

Comment: So why hasn’t Riverfront Aquariums been shut down? Clearly, Woo has a callous disrespect for the lives of these animals let alone their suffering. His only concern is money. Shame on anyone who enables this business to continue. Take a stand, people – go elsewhere!
